Benedictine LIVING COMMUNITY | WAHPETON Benedictine recognizes our physical therapy staff for their important role in helping our residents improve their health, mobility, strength and quality of life. October is National Physical Therapy Month! Meet Michelle Stach. Michelle has been at Benedictine Living Community Wahpeton since December 1997. She has 26 years' experience, starting in acute care and sports medicine before transitioning to long-term rehab. She grew up in Oslo, MN area on a farm and attending college at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks and Northwestern Technical College, East Grand Forks. Michelle is married with 4 adult children and one granddaughter. Michelle has lived in the Breckenridge/ Wahpeton are for the last 25 years. "My favorite part of working here is being able to utilize all of my training and expertise on a daily basis helping our guest return to the a lifestyle they love." Nik Mattson Physical Therapist, has been with Benedictine Living Community Wahpeton since June of this year. Nik received his doctorate degree from University of Wisconson, LaCrosse, were he also played catcher for their baseball team. Nik enjoys running, reading, playing/watching sorts in his spare time. Nik feels his best attribute is a positive attitude and strong desire to learn from both his clients and co workers."I plan to utilize my knowledge of rehabilitation to help all of my clients return to their prior level of function or better with regards to their ability to move at home and in the community."
