About
Jodie Hendrickson - Working in the financial industry has always been my dream. From my first job as a bank teller, I knew I found my calling. After working my way up for 18 years in different departments at local banks, I was given the opportunity to grow personally and professionally and become a financial advisor with a passion for helping, teaching and simplifying my clients' lives. And as they say, the rest is history. 37 years later, 19 with Edward Jones, here we are.
Our office is known for our compassion and understanding. My most memorable appointment ever was with a new widow asking me to help her because had never been to a financial professional before. As we both sat and cried over the loss of her husband and shared memories of him, I was hooked. I knew there was a need to educate and be there for those that need and want to learn. Our main goal is to understand what is most important to our clients and their families.
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are top priority for our office. I am an active member of the LGBT and Allies Business Resource Group at Edward Jones and the Human Rights campaign. We understand the unique financial needs of the LGBT-plus and diverse community and welcome you to contact our office to discuss your financial future. jodi.hendrickson@edwardjones.com
Ashley Gerner - I have served as a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 2015. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, I worked as a director for a national nonprofit organization.
Using an established process, I partner with my clients to build personalized financial strategies designed to achieve their unique goals. I take the time to get to know my clients, what is important to them and the legacies they wish to leave for their loved ones. I then work with my clients on putting a strategy in place around their specific goals, needs and timelines. Once the strategies are implemented, I partner with my clients through consistent communication and regular meetings to address any needs or changes in their situations and help keep them on track through the inevitable curveballs that life throws their way. In order to put a more comprehensive strategy in place for my clients, I regularly collaborate with a team of CPAs, attorneys and other trusted professionals, always maintaining client confidentiality. In 2022, I fulfilled the extensive education requirements to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANICAL PLANNER™ certification, which helps me to deeply serve my clients and their complex needs across a multitude of financial goals.
I am proud to serve a wide variety of clients whose goals range from growing wealth to saving for higher education expenses to planning and living a successful retirement. I regularly work with multi-generational families to develop unique strategies of wealth transfer. Many of my clients are also small business owners and farmers with whom I help create strategies for business succession, asset growth and tax reduction. ashley.gerner@edwardjones.com
